LADY SHARKS  DOMINATES HILLSBOROUGH COMMUNITY COLLEGE HAWKS IN THREE-SET VICTORY

The Miami Dade College (MDC) Sharks women's volleyball team demonstrated their strength and prowess, claiming a resounding victory against the Hillsborough Community College Hawks. The match unfolded in three sets, with the Sharks emerging triumphant with final scores of (25-10, 25-19, 25-14).

The Lady Sharks exhibited exceptional skills and impeccable teamwork throughout the match, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up. With a remarkable display of talent, the team recorded an impressive 38 kills, boasting a hitting percentage of .413. Additionally, they showcased their defensive abilities with 30 digs, eight blocks, and eight aces, solidifying their dominance on the court.

Leading the charge, Ana Tevdoradze showcased sheer dominance, securing 16 kills with an outstanding hitting percentage of .538. Her exceptional performance was complemented by 13 digs and an impressive one ace.

Vivian Lucumi, a force to be reckoned with, contributed four kills with a hitting percentage of .500 and an impressive 4.5 blocks.

Mia Martinez exhibited an unwavering commitment to defense, contributing 13 digs to the team's collective effort.

The Lady Sharks owe much of their success to Luiza Da Cruz, who provided excellent playmaking skills with 32 assists, one kill, and two digs. Their collective efforts epitomized their dedication and determination to each point, propelling them to victory over the Hawks.

The Lady Sharks are ready to continue their winning streak with this victory. Their next game will be on the road on October 21 against Florida Southwestern State College, starting at 2:00 p.m.
