MDC Sharks Volleyball Team Defeated by Eastern Florida State College Titans

The Miami Dade College (MDC) Sharks volleyball team encountered a thrilling match against the Eastern Florida State College Titans, ultimately falling short in a 5-set battle. The final scores were (25-19, 12-25, 22-25, 25-20, 13-15), showcasing both teams' competitive spirit and determination.

The Sharks exhibited impressive performances throughout the match, with a total of 57 kills, 91 digs, 11 blocks, and three aces. Notable player highlights include Ana Tevdoradze, who demonstrated her prowess with 17 kills, 19 digs, and one block. Vivian Lucumi showcased her exceptional hitting abilities, achieving nine kills with a remarkable hitting percentage of .444, three blocks, and one dig. Josani Cruz Rivera displayed her defensive skills with 27 digs and one block.

Although the Sharks could not secure a victory in this intense match, they remain determined and resilient. With their sights set on future success, the MDC Sharks volleyball team will look to bounce back in their next game against Daytona State College on October 11 at MDC Kendall, scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.
