MDC SHARKS SECURES VICTORY AGAINST INDIAN RIVER STATE COLLEGE

The Miami Dade College (MDC) Sharks emerged victorious in a thrilling volleyball game against the Indian River State College Pioneers. The Sharks exhibited an impressive performance, winning in three sets with scores of 25-18, 25-14, and 25-20. The MDC Sharks' overall record was 48 kills with a .469 hitting percentage. MDC Sharks also had 34 digs, four blocks, and seven aces.

Katielle Altagracia Alonzo Vargas showcased her talent and determination, contributing 16 kills with a hitting percentage of .429. Alonzo also had five digs and three aces. Her exceptional performance undoubtedly made an impact on the court.

Ana Tevdoradze also demonstrated exceptional athleticism, recording 12 kills with a hitting percentage of .409. Tevdoradze also had five digs and two aces. Her well-rounded contribution to the game showcased her versatile skillset and dedication to the team.

Luiza Da Cruz showcased her versatility, offering six digs and an impressive 39 assists. Mia Martinez displayed exceptional defensive skills with nine digs, one kill, and one ace.

MDC Sharks will play their next home game on October 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kendall Campus.
