Miami Dade College is proud to announce that Vivian Lucumi has been named the DI FCSAA Volleyball Player of the Week! Throughout the past week, Vivian showcased her exceptional skills both on offense and defense, earning this prestigious recognition.

Vivian's outstanding performance included an average of 2.0 kills and 1.3 blocks over seven sets and an impressive .522 hitting percentage. Her contributions were crucial to Miami Dade's success in securing victories against two nationally-ranked opponents.

In a four-set triumph against Eastern Florida State, Vivian demonstrated her attacking prowess with eight kills. Furthermore, she added six kills to her impressive tally in a straight-set win versus Daytona State. Vivian's exceptional hitting and blocking abilities were critical in securing these victories.

Miami Dade College is honored to have Vivian as a member of the volleyball program. Her outstanding achievements and contributions exemplify the talent and excellence the college strives to develop in its student-athletes.
