MDC Volleyball's Head Coach Origenes "Kiko" Benoit, and his assistant coaches Kelly McFarlane, and Nataly Guiterrez have spent this offseason recruiting international talent. Benoit has signed five kids who will join the 2016 MDC volleyball recruiting class. Miami Dade, has brought in kids from top-notch programs, who have experience in playing at a national level for their country.

Massiel Matos: 6'- OH/RS- Santa Teresita- Higuey, Dominican Republic

• Three-time member of the Dominican Republic Junior National Team
• Played in the 18U Volleyball World Championship for the DR
• Helped her team win the 2015 20U Volleyball Word Championship for the DR
• Helped her team beat the U.S.A in the 2015 Norceca Volleyball Tournament's Finals
• Awarded as the best right-side and best hitter during the 2015 Norceca Volleyball Tournament
• Made the 2015 Norceca Volleyball Tournament All-Tournament Team

Paula Barbosa Louro: 6'- MB- Prof. Maria da Conceicao Moura Branco- Sao Roque, Sao Paulo

• Helped the Sao Paulo State Team win States four times
• Played for Sao Caetano and won States in the Silver Bracket in 2015
• Won Junior Nationals representing the City of Sao Paulo in 2014
• Was awarded the 2011 Sao Paulo State's MVP

Thais Andrade: 5'5 -L- Prof. Maria da Conceicao Moura Branco- Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo

• Helped Barueri win Regionals and States from 2009-2014
• In 2015, she helped her team place first in the Silver Bracket
• Helped her team place second in the Beach Volleyball Regional Tournament

Rafaella Bonifacio: 5'9- OH- Colegio Moriah- Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo

• Played for  the Sao Paulo State Team three-times in a row
• Helped Sao Paulo's junior national team win Nationals

Alexia Clepf Souza: 6'- S- Colegio Max- Sorocaba, Sao Paulo

• Placed second in States while playing for Sao Caetano in 2012
• Placed second in Regionals in 2010 and 2011
