The Miami Dade Sharks pulled off a dramatic 89-88 overtime victory against Eastern Florida State College in a back-and-forth battle that came down to the final moments.
Trailing by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter, the Sharks mounted a furious comeback, outscoring the Titans 29-12 in the final frame to force overtime. Kiara Harris led the charge with a game-high 26 points, including three clutch three-pointers.
In the extra period, with Miami Dade trailing by two, Jamesha Card stepped up with a go-ahead three-pointer to give the Sharks an 89-88 lead. Eastern Florida had one last possession to steal the win, but Card sealed the game with a crucial block in the closing seconds, denying the Titans a final shot attempt.
