Shameir Quimby of the Miami Dade Sharks women's basketball team was announced as a FCSAA All-Conference First-Team recipient as announced by the FCSAA, Friday afternoon. 

Quimby, the 4th leading scorer in the NJCAA, was the Sharks engine this year leading Miami Dade with 21.8 points per game, 4.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. 

Shameir would reach the double digit mark in 28 out of the Sharks 30 games' with one of her highlight performances being a 73-61 win over Palm Beach State College, where she had 38 points on 14-21 shooting from the field. 

"She's taken on a leadership role to help this to more wins", Coach Summons states. "She's a captain and has embraced that role beautifully which has impacted the team in a positive way. She has led our team this year and we're excited to have her back next year."
