The Miami Dade Sharks women's basketball team fell to the Florida Southwestern Buccaneers 81-68 on Wednesday afternoon. The Sharks drop to 6-23 with the loss.

Quimby once again the led the Sharks posting 20 points and adding 4 steals. Renae Brant went 5-13 from 3 point land, adding 15 points in 28 minutes for the Sharks.

Although both teams would shoot 23-58 from the field, 39.7%, the Sharks almost doubled the Bucs foul totals, sending them to the line for 42 attempts compated to the Sharks 26 attempts. 

Makenna Shaffer and Ashley Lester led the way for the Buccaneers both scoring 17 points with Lester bringing down 9 rebounds.

The Sharks will look to bounce back on Saturday, March 2nd when they match up against Santa Fe College for Sophomore Night. The game is scheduled for 2:00 PM
