Sharks lose on the road to the Titans

The Miami Dade Sharks women's basketball team loss to the Titans, the 7th ranked team in the country, 93-65. The Sharks drop to 6-22 on the season while the Titans move to 24-3.

Miami Dade was led by guard Shameir Quimby who scored 33 points on an efficient 10-15 from the field. Quimby would shoot 17 free throws on the night, nailing 12. Renae Brant would follow with 13 points for the Sharks.

Eastern Florida State College were led by Amelia Hassett who brought down an impressive 15 rebounds and scored 15 points to complete the double double. Ashleigh Battle would come off the bench and rack up 10 assists on the way to victory.

The Sharks will look to finish the season off on a strong note as they take on Florida Southwestern on February 28th and Santa Fe on March 2nd.
