The Miami Dade Sharks Women's basketball team dropped a conference matchup against Hillsborough Community College. Miami Dade drops to 4-21 while the Hawks move to 14-10.

The Sharks were led in this by Shameir Quimby who scored 28 points with 3 blocks and 5 rebounds. Masiel Reyes would bring down a double double for Hillsborough having 29 points and 10 rebounds. 

A poor night from the field for the Sharks would ultimately be their downfall as they shot 10% from three point range compared to 36% from Hillsborough. The balanced attack from the Hawks proved to be too much as they had four different players score over double digits.

The Sharks will look to get back in the win column as they take on St. Petersburg College on Saturday. The game is slated for February 17th at 2:00 PM.
