The Miami Dade College Women's Basketball program is proud to announce a significant signing for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Sharks signed 5'11 Power Forward Jamesha Card, who brings scoring and presence in the paint.

Jamesha, a standout player from South Broward High School, is currently averaging 16.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in her senior season while leading her team to a 15-6 record and a perfect 5-0 in District play.

Coach Summons expressed her excitement with the newest addition stating, "Big Mimi will be a much needed, and exciting addition to the Shark Nation. Jamesha can play and guard multiple positions, she's a player with a high basketball IQ. She has a nice shooter's touch and a very solid motor. I'm confident Jamesha will be able to contribute right away to our offensive and rebounding attack."
