The Miami Dade College (MDC) Lady Sharks basketball team exhibited determination and skill in their second game of the South Georgia Tech Classic, narrowly succumbing to the South Georgia Tech Jets with a final score of 62-65.

The Lady Sharks demonstrated their prowess through an impressive performance on the court, securing a total of 42 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and six blocks throughout the game.

Shameir Quimby emerged as a standout player, leading the Lady Sharks in scoring with an impressive 28-point contribution and securing six rebounds. Farida Rdwan made a significant impact with 17 points and three blocks, showcasing her defensive abilities.

Another notable performance came from Vivian Urhobara, who exhibited her versatility on the court with four points, 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.
