The Miami Dade Sharks softball were shutout for their second straight game against the Santa Fe Saints on Thursday. Miami Dade now drops to 19-31 on the season.

Santa Fe first got on the board when Aliana Mercado singled, scoring one run. Then another single by Clark made the score 2-0 in favor of the Saints.

Santa Fe would add their third and fourth runs of the game in the top of the fifth inning after a sac fly by Madi Conway and a single by Clark.

Aimi Tohara took the loss for Miami Dade College. The right-handed pitcher went seven innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out none and walking eight.

The Sharks offense just scratched three hits this game as Atavya Fowler, Ty Marie Cervantes, and Maya Wall each collected hits for Miami Dade.
