Miami Dade wins Game 2 against the Manatees

The Miami Dade Sharks defeated the State College of Florida Manatees via a score of 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon. The Sharks move to 19-28 on the year.

Miami Dade got on the board in the first inning after Jaiden Tretter singled, bringing in Jimena Kunigami 

Saremi Flores singled, which helped State College of Florida tie the game at one in the top of the fourth.

The Sharks then took the lead in the bottom of the fourth after Arianna Thomason singled, scoring one run, to give Miami Dade the advantage, 2-1.

Aimi Tohara would hold the 2-1 lead for the rest of the game and earn the win for Miami Dade. The righty allowed five hits and one run over seven innings while striking out one and walking three.

The Sharks are back in action Thursday when they take on Santa Fe College in a doubleheader. The games are scheduled for 2 PM and 4 PM.
