Bucs overcome early 2-0 deficit to defeat Miami Dade

The Miami Dade Sharks softball team lost 6-2 to the Buccaneers in Game 2 of their doubleheader Tuesday afternoon. The Sharks are now 10-21 on the year with the loss.

Shortstop Jaiden Tretter continued her offensive onslaught with a 2 run shot to center field to give the Sharks a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning.

Unfortunately the rest of the game would go Florida Southwestern's way as they would take back the lead in the bottom half of the third and pile on some extra runs in the fourth.

Emily Allegood led the way for the Bucs with 2 RBI and an extra base hit in this one.

Aimi Tohara earned the nod for Miami Dade this afternoon, tossing 2.1 allowing 5 hits and 4 earned runs. She would also earn the loss in this ballgame.

Miami Dade will look to bounce back on the road when they take on Polk State College April 2nd. The games are scheduled for 4 PM and 6 PM.
