Sharks fall to the Raiders 5-3

The Miami Dade Sharks softball fell to the Seminole State College Raiders in the second game of their doubleheader. The Sharks fall to 8-17 on the year with the loss. 

Kiana Kadena got the scoring started in the second inning after she grounded out, bringing in an RBI.

Seminole State college flipped the script in the bottom half of the second, making the score 4-1 after Kiara Beltre plated three with an RBI double and Cassidy Ross drove another one in.

Ty Marie Cervantes then homered to left field in the third to bring the Sharks slightly closer but this was all the Sharks offense could muster up in the second game of the doubleheader. 

Miami Dade will take on Eastern Florida State College in a doubleheader Tuesday afternoon. The games are scheduled for 2 PM and 4 PM.
