Sharks lose 4-2 against the Raiders

The Miami Dade Sharks softball fell to the Seminole State College Raiders in the first game of their scheduled doubleheader. The Sharks fall to 8-16 on the year with the loss and 6-11 in conference play.

Miami Dade's Jaiden Tretter got the party going on Saturday afternoon with a two run shot to deep center field to put the Sharks up 2-0 from the get go.

The Raiders would chip at the lead in the bottom of the third after a single from Cassidy Ross. The Raiders would turn the tide in the bottom of the fifth inning as they scored three more to make the score 4-2. Both offenses would reach a stalemate from here on out, which would be an advantage for Seminole State College.

The Raiders pitching was able to shut down the Sharks offense the rest of the way en route to a victory.

Miami Dade will look to bounce back in game 2 of the doubleheader which is scheduled for 4 PM.
