The Sharks softball lost game 2 of the doubleheader against the Titans from St. Pete. The Sharks drop to 4-8 with the loss.

St. Petersburg got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after a double from Ella Carroll, and Fory grounded out, with both plays bringing in a run.

The Sharks would bounce back after Alexis Ortega homered to center field, scoring three runs in the top of the third for the Miami Dade. From this point on, it would be all Titans.

Beatrice Nannetti took the loss for Miami Dade. The right-handed pitcher went two innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on five hits, striking out none and walking none.

The Sharks will look to bounce back when they take on Hillsborough at home on Saturday March 2nd. The games are slated for 12 PM and 2 PM.
