Sharks dominate Oxford College 6-0

Miami Dade College put on a clinical performance, overwhelming Oxford College of Emory University with a commanding 6-0 victory. The Sharks controlled the game from start to finish, racking up 23 shots.

Alejandro Cumplido opened the scoring early, finding the back of the net in the 11th minute off a setup from Diego Luengo. Despite Miami Dade's constant pressure in the first half, they couldn't extend their lead, going into halftime with a 1-0 advantage.

The floodgates opened in the second half, with Miami firing off five more goals. Facundo Ochoa scored in the 54th minute, assisted by Benicio Aronow, doubling the Sharks' lead. Thirteen minutes later, Luengo added to his strong performance with a goal, assisted by Eduardo Cornejo, making it 3-0. Aronow got on the scoresheet just a minute later, this time off a pass from Edoardo Duchini.

Luengo tallied his second goal of the match in the 72nd minute, again assisted by Duchini, as the pair proved too much for Oxford's defense. Duchini capped off the scoring in the 86th minute with a goal of his own, assisted by Luengo, to make it 6-0.

Miami Dade's defense was rock solid, as goalkeeper Angel Fernandez recorded two saves to secure his third clean sheet of the season. Oxford's goalkeeper was under siege, facing 23 shots but managing to keep the scoreline respectable with several key saves.

Duchini and Luengo were instrumental in Miami Dade's offensive dominance, each contributing two assists. The team also earned a staggering 20 corner kicks, keeping constant pressure on the Oxford defense.

With this win, Miami Dade moves to 5-0-2 on the year.
