The Miami Dade Sharks men's basketball team defeated Santa Fe College 75-51 on Sophomore Night. The Sharks move to 15-14 with the victory.

Esteban Lluberes would once again lead the Sharks with 24 points on 8-12 shooting from the field. The Shark attack would be strong in this one as they had four different players in double digits. Big man Alaaeddine Boutayeb would score 12 and bring down 18 rebounds in the winning effort. 

Santa Fe would bring it within 8 points with 10 minutes left but two 3 pointers by Lluberes and a layup by Jamaal Morris would push the lead to 18. The Sharks would ride this lead out for the rest of the game and eventually extend it to as much as 24.

The Sharks take on Hillsborough Community College next Monday in a matchup that'll determine if the Sharks go into the FCSAA State Tournament. The game is slated for 7:00 at Hillsborough.
