The Miami Dade Sharks Men's basketball team won their second conference matchup against St. Petersburg College 71-59. The Sharks move to 14-12 with the victory while the Titans fall to 10-15 on the season.

The Sharks were led by a 2 headed monster featuring big man Alaaedine Boutayeb and guard Esteban Lluberes. Boutayeb would be one rebound shy from a double double, bringing down 9 boards while scoring 18 points with 14 of those coming in the second half. Lluberes would score 17 on 6-12 shooting and 5-8 from deep. 

Miami Dade would have a 17 point lead in the second half and were able to withstand the pressure that the Titans would bring only letting them cut it to 10. Boutayeb's 14 points in the second half would be a big factor in stalling the Titans comeback.

The Sharks look to stay in the win column when they take on Eastern Florida State in Melbourne next Saturday. The game is slated for 4:00 PM on the 24th.
