Miami Dade run rules United International College

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team was able to breeze by the UIC Eagles Rays 10-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The Sharks are now 16-14 on the year.

The Sharks got on the board in the first inning after Thomas White drove in 2 runs on a single. They then piled on five runs in the second inning thanks in large part to a double by D'Angelo Ortiz, a single by Carlos Jacome and a sacrifice fly by White.

David Zamora, Geremy Garcia and Maikol Perez also joined in the fun today with all three having multi hit games.

Michael Petite earned the win for Miami Dade tossing one inning and surrendering no hits or runs. He would strike out one in the outing.

The Sharks will look to stay hot as they take on the Titans from St. Petersburg on Thursday, March 21. The game is slated for 6:00 PM.
