The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team lost 4-2 against Gulf Coast State College, Sunday evening. The Sharks move to 2-1 while Gulf Coast stays perfect at 3-0.
Alex Rosario got the start against the Commodores going 4.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and striking out 3. Keanu Rodriguez and Enrique Sierra came in relief and tossed 3 and 2/3 allowing 1 run and 1 hit while striking out 3.
Gulf Coast's Cole Horton was able to tag up Rodriguez for a solo shot in this providing a boost for the Commodores offense.
Miami Dade's left fielder Dean Guzman led the Sharks offense in this one going 2 for 4 with a stolen base. Maikol Perez and Kerry Brown drove in the Shark's only 2 runs in this contest.
The Sharks return to the field on Monday when they drive up to Panama City where they'll participate in the PCB College Baseball Classic.
