Sharks edged by Broward Sea hawks

Miami Dade College Sharks on the wrong end of a 10-9 defeat to Broward College on Saturday. The game was tied at nine with Broward batting in the bottom of the ninth scoring one run.

Despite the loss, Miami Dade College Sharks did collect 12 hits in the high scoring affair. Unfortunately Broward had 12 hits on the way to victory.

 

 Miami Dade College Sharks stayed in it until the end, but Broward college pulled away late in a 4-2 victory on Friday, March 6, 2020. 

Jose Pichardo on the pitcher's mound lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run.

 

On the first away game of the series between the Sharks and the Sea Hawks asserted their will over Broward College to a 12-1 victory.

Henry Wallen, Ian Jenkins, and Matt Krtausch powered the big inning in the 8th with RBIs. Gabriel Figueroa on the mound went six innings, allowing one run on two hits striking out seven and walking one.

 

The Sharks are currently 2-4 in conference play and 15-6 overall with their next series starting Wednesday March 11, 2020 against Indian River State College (AWAY).
