Stephen Delgado, a native of Puerto Rico, brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for sports to his role as Sports Information Director at Miami Dade College. With a strong background in sports, particularly volleyball, Stephen has been involved in collegiate athletics from a very young age.

Before joining Miami Dade, Stephen was on staff at Monroe University, where he was on staff with the women’s and men’s volleyball programs from 2021 to 2023. During his time at Monroe, the teams achieved an impressive combined record of 104-30, boasting a winning percentage of 77.61%. His time there helped shape his career in athletic communications and gave him invaluable insights into team dynamics, media relations, and athletic promotion.

Now at Miami Dade, Stephen is committed to elevating the profile of the school’s athletic programs, leveraging his experience, dedication, and love for sports to highlight student-athlete achievements and further strengthen Miami Dade’s standing in collegiate athletics.
