Adam Braswell is an accomplished and dedicated basketball coach, the new Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Miami Dade College (MDC). With a solid background in collegiate and high school basketball, Adam brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the MDC Team.

Adam's basketball journey began as a player at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he honed his skills on the court. After his collegiate playing career, Adam transitioned into coaching and embarked on a successful coaching career.

Before joining MDC, Adam was a graduate assistant at St. Thomas University in Miami, FL, during the 2022-2023 season. Under his guidance, the team achieved an impressive overall record of 26-8, including a remarkable 16-1 home record. The team also made history by reaching the NAIA Sweet 16 for the first time in the school's history. Additionally, Adam contributed to player development, assisted with defensive strategies, conducted pre-game and pre-practice warm-ups, and facilitated strength and conditioning workouts.

Adam's coaching experience extends beyond the collegiate level, as he also served as the Assistant Coach at Dade Christian School during the 2022-2023 season. Under his leadership, the team achieved a remarkable overall record of 23-6, the most wins in school history. The team was ranked as the 8th best team in the FHSAA 2A Division. Adam's guidance helped three out of five seniors from the team to continue their basketball careers at the college level.

In the previous season, Adam took on the role of Head Coach at Champagnat Catholic School, where he significantly impacted the program. He turned the program around, leading the team to win ten more games than the previous season. Adam's leadership and coaching skills were instrumental in helping five out of six seniors from the team to secure college basketball opportunities.

Furthermore, Adam was the Director and Head Coach at TeamMe AAU Basketball from 2020 to 2023. He coached the 16U and 17U programs, playing a pivotal role in developing young talents. Under his guidance, ten players from the organization moved on to play college basketball within three years of the program's establishment. Adam's commitment to player development and mentorship has positively impacted the aspiring athletes at TeamMe.

With a track record of success and a dedication to player development, Adam Braswell brings a dynamic skill set and a passion for basketball to his new role as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Miami Dade College. His experience and accomplishments make him a valuable asset to the MDC Team and a trusted mentor to the student-athletes he coaches.
