Miami Dade College freshman setter Eleonora Gicheva has been named the DI FCSAA Volleyball Setter of the Week after delivering a standout performance that fueled the Sharks’ offensive rhythm and defensive stability.

The Sofia, Bulgaria native averaged 9.7 assists per set across seven sets, setting the tone for Miami Dade’s balanced attack. Gicheva highlighted her week with an impressive double-double against Daytona State, finishing with 45 assists and 20 digs, before adding 23 more assists in the win over Polk State.
