Camila Gomez stands out in Lima for the Panamerican Games

Miami Dade College Alumni Camila Gomez makes a huge impression at the 2019 Panamerican Games held in Lima, Peru.

The former Shark playing for her native country Colombia registered double digit digs in every match of the tournament. Camila and the "Cafeteros" fell short in the Championship match against Dominican Republic and was awarded with a silver medal. Camila was named Best digger (104 digs), Best Receiver (72, 49.23 efficiency and Best Libero 176 total digs. Congratulations Camila and the Colombian National team, good luck on your upcoming season!
