Miami Dade College's Camila De La Rosa was named NJCAA DI Volleyball Player of the Week.
Freshman setter from Santo Domingo,D.R. averaged 13.1 assists, 2.3 digs in four matches. De La Rosa helped Miami Dade to the Region 8 Championship and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
Camila recorded a pair of double-doubles, including a 50-assist, 11 dig effort against top seed No. 2 ranked Polk State College. She had 57 assists in the Championship match against nationally ranked Hillsborough.
