Miami Dade College Lady Sharks concluded the Starr invitational with a Bang winning all four games this past weekend. The Starr Invitaional held in Southern Idaho  home to the College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles. The Sharks went 4-0 this weekend with an overall of 7-1. On the first day of the tournament the Sharks swept Salt Lake community College 3-0, and followed up with a rematch of the from last year's national final with tournament host College of Southern Idaho defeating the Golden Eagles ending 3-1.Day two of the Starr Invitational the Sharks held their ground and went four sets against Snow College with a final result of 3-1, the final match of the tournament the Sharks went the full length against Utah State Eastern with the match ending 3-2. 

Yaniris Miller-Green Averaged 4.4 kills and 2.8 digs over 16 sets in four matches. Recorded double-digit kills in each match, including 23 in a four-set win over defending national champion College of Southern Idaho.
Paola Pimentel Averaged 6.4 digs in 14 sets over four matches Recorded double-digit digs in each match, including 25-Dig Club entries vs. defending national champion College of Southern Idaho (26) and Snow (27).
Camila De la Rosa 
Averaged 12.5 assists in 15 sets over four matches-Had two 50+ assist performances–57 vs. defending national championCollege of Southern Idaho
and 50 vs. Utah State Eastern

UP NEXT THE SHARKS WILL TRAVEL TO NEVADA FOR THE COYOTE VOLLEYBALL INVITATIONAL IN Las Vegas, Nevada.
