Seven Sharks continue their academic and athletic career

Miami Dade College Lady Sharks Volleyball has 7 athletes continuing their athletic and academic career. The Miami Dade College Volleyball team were back to back national champions in 2016 & 2017 and 3-peat State champions. The Lady Sharks finished their season (32-2) overall and (9-0) in conference. The Sharks ended their season in the NJCAA National tournament final vs College of Southern Idaho coming second in the nation.

Fiorella Murillo had 233 kills,and 45 blocks assists and 19 blocks. (signed to Florida International University)

2  Valeria Santos had 379 digs (signed to St. Peters University)

Maria Angelica Palacios had 161 kills, 29 blocks assists and 16 blocks. (Signed to St. John's University)

6 Samaret Caraballo having 550 digs. ( Signed to University of Texas Rio Grande Valley)

10 Valeria Alegrias had 298 kills, 24 blocks assists and 23 blocks. (Signed to University of San Francisco)

11 Tiziana Baumrukova had 1212 assists, 297 digs. (Signed to St. John's Univeristy)

12 Thayna Mendes had 185 assists, and 47 digs. (Signed to Florida Memorial University) 

 

Good luck also to Paola Pena another member of the Miami Dade College Lady Sharks Volleyball team who will continue her education here in South Florida.
