The Miami Dade College Lady Sharks Volleyball team defeated the Palm Beach State College Panthers last night in Sophomore's Game match-up. Head Coach Kiko Benoit honored the sophomore’s last night and then got right to business on the court by continuing their winning streak.
The Lady Sharks won in 3 sets, 25-9, 25-19, 25-16, improving their record to 22-0, (11-0 in conference). The sophomore’s led the way for the Sharks: Tiziana Baumrukova with 22 assists, 2 aces; Samaret Caraballo 25 digs; Fiorela Murillo and Maria Angelica Palacios 8 kills.
The team will travel this weekend to Daytona to compete in a tri-match against Daytona State College and Santa Fe College.
