A season of many ups and history-making for the Lady Sharks reaches a final curtain call today.
The Lady Sharks (32-2) fell to the Golden Eagles, College of Southern Idaho in three sets of the 2018 NJCAA Volleyball Championship match in Hutchinson, KS. The Golden Eagles repaid the Sharks after last year's Championship match.
Coach Kiko Origenes First-seeded Lady Sharks advanced to the final day of the 16-team tournament with a 3-2 win against No. 5-seeded Iowa Western Community College, along with wins against 9th seeded Trinity Valley and first match against Monroe College.
VS Trinity Valley Community College, your Lady Sharks defeated the Cardinals 3-0 with scores at (25-17, 25-22, 25-23). Scherine Dahoue had 13 kills and six digs also Valeria Alegrias with 10 kills. Tiziana helped the sharks with 33 assists and 10 digs, along with Samaret with getting 12 digs. Improving overall record to 31-1
VS Monroe College your Lady Sharks swept the Mustangs of Monroe 3-0 with scores at (25-16, 25-18, 25-22). Scherine Dahoue contributing with 14 kills and five digs, Tiziana aiding the team with 28 assist and five digs. Along with Samaret getting 15 digs. Improving overall record to 30-1.
