The Miami Dade College Lady Sharks women's basketball team were defeated in the 1st round of the FCSAA State Tournament by the Lady Titans of Eastern Florida State College in Ocala, FL. With a final score of 89-109, the Lady Sharks finish their season 22-9, 11-1 in conference play. Freshman Ganette Chism put up 34 points, 5 assists, 2 steals in the loss while Deidra Harris contribued a double-double 16 points and 13 rebounds, and sophomore Cheah Rael-Whitsitt had a double-double as well 10 points, 12 rebounds.
