Sharks take down Saints, 67-58
The Miami Dade Sharks pulled off a strong 67-58 win over Santa Fe, fueled by a well-rounded team effort and dominance on the boards.
The Sharks led throughout the game, taking a 30-25 advantage into halftime before extending their lead in the second half. Their defensive presence was key, forcing 11 turnovers while out-rebounding Santa Fe 45-36.
Faheim Saintleger Meran led the way for Miami Dade with a double-double, tallying 14 points and 10 rebounds while also dishing out five assists. Ernesto Rodriguez provided a spark off the bench, scoring 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including three three-pointers. Jamaal Morris also made an impact with nine points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
Despite a valiant effort from Santa Fe's Karmello Branch, who recorded 14 points and six rebounds, the Saints struggled with efficiency, shooting just 22.2% from beyond the arc. Miami Dade's defensive pressure limited their offensive rhythm, sealing the Sharks' victory.
