Miami Dade College Men's Basketball spent the day helping the summer campers in Little Haiti.
Coach Pete holds this camp in Little Haiti at Itech Miami Magnet school. I spoke with the campers about being disciplined, working hard and the importance of education. I answered several questions from the campers and put them through a few basketball drills we do as a team.
Coach Pete’s weekly camp focuses on developing the kids and enhancing their skills though repetitious drills. This gives the kids discipline and helps improve their basketball skills. The campers age range is from 8-17 years old.
The camp has different speakers come talk with the campers weekly.
