Men's Basketball Defeats ASA College on Sophomore Night

On Tuesday, February 20, 2018 the Miami Dade College men's basketball team hosted ASA College on Sophomore Night. Before the game, Head Coach Kevin Ledoux, Assistant Coach Ward Griffith, Assistant Coach Brandon Cosby, and the entire staff of MDC Athletics held a ceremony to honor the sophomores: Cedric Belemene, Elijah Hill, Connor Ferrell, and Luis Rivera.

In a close game the Sharks defeated the Silver Storm 107-102. Leading the way in the Sharks' attack was player Elijah Hill. Hill finished the game with 35 points and 11 rebounds. The Sharks finished their season last Saturday, February, 24, 2018 when they travelled to Ft. Lauderdale, FL to play against rival conference opponent Broward College. The Sharks defeated the Seahawks 96-95. Miami Dade men's basketball finishes the season 16-14 overall and 5-7 in conference play.
