The Miami Dade Sharks baseball fell at the hands of Chipola College in the second game of the Regional Round 11-5, Satuday evening. The Sharks end the year with a 28-26 record.

In what almost looked like a repeat of Friday's matchup the Sharks offense was able to muster up five runs compared to the Indians 11. The offense was led by Thomas Whote today, who went 3 for 5 with a run batted in and Michael Petite, who hit his 9th homerun of the year.

Enrique Sierra got the start for Miami Dade going four and two thirds, allowing five runs on one hit and tallying six strikeouts. Luis Rodriguez was credited with the loss as he went one and a third, allowing six runs and recording three strikeouts.

The Sharks close out their 2024 season just two wins away from another FCSAA State Tournament appearance.
