Sharks fall to Eastern Florida State College

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team fell to the Eastern Florida State College Titans 14-6 on Wednesday evening. The Sharks are now 27-23 on the year after the loss.

Miami Dade scratched the first run in the game after a groundout by Thomas White brought in a run. Then a single by Michael Petite extended the Miami Dade lead to 3-0 in the top of the third inning.

The Titans then flipped the game on its head after scoring eight runs in the bottom of the fourth. 

Miami Dade showed life in the top of the seventh after Maikol Perez hit a solo shot to center and Carlos Jacome hit a sac fly, making the score 13-6.

Juan Miguel Fernandez took the loss for the Sharks as he went three and one-third innings, allowing eight runs and striking out four.

The Sharks will look to bounce back on Saturday when they host the Titans in a doubleheader to close out the regular season.
