Sharks even up the series against the Bucs

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team took Game 2 of the series against the Florida Southwestern State College Buccaneers 4-2 on Friday afternoon. The Sharks now move to 25-22 on the year.

The Bucs struck first in the bottom of the third inning after an error by the Sharks allowed one run to score and a sac fly by McAloose made the score 2-0.

Miami Dade answered back in the top of the fourth after Michael Petite hit a towering two-run shot to left field and Thomas White doubled to drive in another.

In the top of the sixth, Thomas White would once again drive in another run to give the Sharks a 4-2 lead.

Juan Miguel Fernandez would toss a complete game against the #12 ranked Bucs only allowing three hits and two runs while striking out four.

The Sharks will look to take the rubbermatch against the Buccaneers at 4 PM.
