Sharks bounce back in Game 2 against Santa Fe

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team bounced back in game 2 against Santa Fe defeating them 8-5. The Sharks are now 13-13.

The Saints got on the board in the top of the first inning after a wild pitch allowed them to take the lead.

Miami Dade bounced back in a big way in the bottom of the third scoring four runs. Santiago Carriles started the rally with a single that scored Maikol Perez. Jacome then grounded into a fielder's choice which scored Michael Petite. Keanu Rodriguez then peppered a ball to left field allowing Garcia to score. A bases loaded walk for David Zamora brought in the fourth run of the inning for the Sharks.

In the fifth, Carlos Jacome would add some cushion with a single through the right side bringing in Garcia.

New York native Alex Rosario got things started for the Sharks today going seven strong innings, only allowing three hits and striking out 8.

Miami Dade will look to stay hot when they take on State College of Florida on Thursday. The game is slated for 5:00 PM at home.
