Miami Dade drops Game 1 against Santa Fe

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team dropped the first game of their doubleheader against Santa Fe 6-1, Saturday evening. The Sharks are now 12-13 with the loss.

The Sharks struck first in this one after Geremy Garcia singled, driving in outfielder Michael Petite. Unfortunately for the Sharks, this would be the only run they would tally in this one as the rest of the game would go the Saints way.

Kerry Brown got the start in this ballgame, only pitching three and a thirds innings, surrendering six runs on seven hits. He would strike out two and walk four.

The Sharks will look to bounce back when they take on Santa Fe in the second game of their doubleheader. The game is scheduled to start at 4 PM.
