The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team took down the Eagles from Polk State 8-0. The Sharks are now 11-12 on the season. 

Miami Dade got on the board in the top of the first inning after Santiago Carriles, Dean Guzman and Carlos Jacome each drove in a run. The Sharks would add three more runs in the top of the fifth thanks to a homer by Geremy Garcia and an RBI groundout by Michael Petite.

Kerry Brown toed the slab today tossing 6 shutout innings striking out 5 and walking 2. Julian Carrasquilla tossed a scoreless inning in relief for the Sharks. He would strike out all three batters he faced.

The Sharks will look to stay hot as they take on Santa Fe on Thursday, March 7th.
