The Sharks fall 4-2 to Polk State

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team fell 4-2 on Saturday to the Polk State Eagles. Miami Dade falls to 10-12 on the season.

The Sharks opened the scoring in the second inning after Carlos Jacome hit a solo shot to left field. Polk State would jump back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after singles from Petty and Glading each scored a run.

Michael Petite would drive in the other run for the Sharks but it would not be enough. Alex Rosario earned the loss in this matchup going five innings, allowing three runs (one earned) while striking out seven.

The Sharks will look to bounce back in the second leg of their doubleheader.
