Alex Rosario twirls a gem against College of Central Florida

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team won the second game of the series against College of Central Florida. The Sharks move to 8-7 with the win while the Patriots drop to 8-4.

Miami Dade got on the board first in this one thanks to a D'Angelo Ortiz RBI single that scored outfielder Maikol Perez.

Central Florida's Kareh Valentin tied it back up in the bottom of the first but Miami Dade's Alex Rosario was able to shut down the potent Patriot offense the rest of the game. The righty only allowed four hits and one run over seven innings. Rosario would walk one and strike out five.

Outfielder Michael Petite showcased some pop homering to left field in the top of the sixth to add some cushion to the lead for the Sharks. Sharks third baseman D'Angelo Ortiz enjoyed his best game at the plate so far this season going 3-3 with one run driven in and a walk.

The Sharks will look to take the rubbermatch of this series when they take on College of Central Florida at 10 AM on February 17th.
