The Sharks fall to Florence Darlington 7-4

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team would fall to Florence Darlington twice in back to back days. The Sharks drop to 6-6 with the loss.

The Stingers would get the party started in this one as a bases loaded walk by Campos brought a run in to put them up 1-0. An RBI single by JP Cunningham in the second would make the score 2-0 in favor of Florence Darlington.

In the 7th, the Sharks would score 3 runs thanks to wild pitches by Florence Darlington but it was not enough. The Stingers would answer with an insurance run in the 9th to put Miami Dade to bed.

Kerry Brown took the bump in this one going 4.1, while giving up 4 runs on 5 hits. He would strike out six and walk four in the outing.

Miami Dade will look to regroup as they take on Atlantis College on Tuesday, February 13. The game is slated for 6:30 PM.
