A big 6th inning pushes Miami Dade past St. Johns River

The Miami Dade Sharks baseball team were aided by an 8 run sixth inning as they won 11-10 against St Johns River State College. They move to a 6-5 record with the victory.

The Vikings got on the board thanks a double by Andon Lewis which drove in two runs. It wouldn't be until the 5th inning when the Sharks struck back with a solo shot by Carlos Jacome and a 2 RBI single by Keanu Rodriguez. This would make the score 6-3 in the 5th.

The following inning, Miami Dade was able to open the floodgates as they would score 8 runs to flip the game on its head. Dean Guzman and Jacome would each have 2 RBI hits this inning. 

Rosario would get the start for Miami Dade in this one. He would go 4 innings giving up 6 earned runs on 5 hits. Brandon Vasquez would receive the win in this one, tossing 1 inning and striking out one. 

Miami Dade will face off against Florence Darlington tomorrow in a rematch from yesterday's game. The game is slated for February 11 at 10:00 AM in Palatka.
